Ella rock has become one of the main locations that most of the visitors want to hike or trek. With an approximate 10km and 3hours of a round trip, the rock offers you one of the best sceneries of the country. Another place to Hike and Trek in Ella will be the Lipton seats. The journey towards Lipton seats will enable to look at the local’s lifestyle and walk through massive numbers of a tea plantation with a road capable of taking only 1 tuk-tuk at a time. At the top, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful environment and the view of the centre of the city through the tea plantation.

Adam’s Peak

Another location perfect for hiking and trekking in Sri Lanka would Adam’s Peak or know as Sri Pada amongst the local. Situated in the Samanala Mountain range in the Sabaragamuwa province, Adam’s peak has several locations of entry points. Usually, most of the visitors of Adam’s peak tend to start the journey of the climb in the night due to the cold weather and to watch the sunrise through the beautiful mountain range.

Nuwara Eliya has become one of another attraction of many mountaineers. This is because of the Horton Plains. Horton Plains one of the highest places on the country, being 2000m above sea level and it is an ecosystem including grasslands and Montane evergreen forests. Horton plains consist of three main destinations which are the 2nd and 3rd tallest mountains in the country and the world’s end ( Bakers fall ).
